Your Stay Options

A place of inspiration

La Vuardaz is nestled in a true oasis of tranquility. The entire southern shore of Lake Neuchâtel—with its fine sandy beaches, vineyards, forests, and meadows—is designated as a protected natural area.
La Vuardaz — Your Oasis

This refined boutique hotel, set in an exceptional landscape, invites you to savor the moment, take your time, and treat yourself.
In this historic 18th-century winemaker’s house, designated a heritage site, the charm of the Belle Époque blends with contemporary elements and diverse natural surroundings.
Under the old linden tree and the red beech, you can daydream; on the large terrace shaded by the tulip tree, you can celebrate or simply gaze out at the lake.

Between nature and culture

The natural sandy beach, located within the nature reserve, is just a fifteen-minute walk away. The medieval town of Estavayer-le-Lac, a half-hour walk away, charms visitors with its cultural offerings.

Host and Founder

Valérie Rossier

Traveling the world from a young age, inspiring encounters, and a deep connection to nature have shaped my adventure-filled life journey, whose many lessons are reflected in every detail of La Vuardaz.

As a bridge between different cultures, I’ve created a space here that goes far beyond the simple concept of a hotel: La Vuardaz is a place of connection—with oneself, with the world, and with life. A place where silence inspires and where encounters give meaning.

I am a certified high school teacher with diverse professional experience and the mother of four children. Thirteen years ago, I created my own permaculture garden, which I have since developed and maintained with great passion. Over the years, this garden has become a vibrant place of learning and experience. Thus, I combine knowledge, experience, and human warmth.

I wholeheartedly welcome you in Swiss German, German, French, English, Spanish, or Portuguese, all of which I speak fluently.
